Young Investigator Award Competition

The European Tissue Repair Society (ETRS) invites the submission of abstracts on original work for consideration for an Oral Presentation Prize and a Poster Presentation Prize.

Cosmet’in Lyon will reward with a prize, an oral communication related to skin biology.

The French Society for Matrix Biology (SFBMEc) will reward with a prize, a poster related to the extracellular matrix.

Oral presentation ETRS awards – Young Investigator Awards (age <35 years)
6 early career candidates of age <35 will be selected from their abstracts by the ETRS board to compete for the Young Investigator Awards during a plenary session (10 min oral presentation + 5 minutes discussion each).
The first prize will be awarded to one individual judged as being the best oral presentation in the young investigator prize session.
The awardee will be granted the possibility to present his/her work at the next Wound Healing Society (WHS) meeting. Travel and accommodation are covered by WHS.
A maximum of two more prizes of 500 Euro will be awarded to young investigators ranked 2nd and 3rd in the oral presentation competition.
Such awards shall be available to all young investigators (<35 years) submitting abstracts if they choose to enter the competition (check the corresponding box on the abstract template).
Should an abstract be selected from an individual who is not a member of the ETRS then the membership fee for 1 year will be deducted from the prize.
A balance between basic and clinical topics should be aimed for.

Cosmet’in Lyon price for the best Oral presentation
Cosmet’in Lyon will award a prize to a best oral communication on selected abstracts in relation with skin biology.

ETRS and SFBMEc Poster presentation awards
A maximum of 3 prizes of 200 Euro will be awarded by ETRS to the best posters presented at the meeting.
The SFBMEc will award a prize of 200 euros to the best poster whose work is related to extracellular matrix.
